Cabbage Soup Diet Review

>
>
The Cabbage Soup Diet is a weight loss plan that's been around for decades. People report hearing about it in one form or another as far back as the 1950's. It is still a plan that a lot of people follow today.

In this review I want to go over what the Cabbage Soup Diet is and show you whether it is really good for you.

The basis of the program is a special recipe for Cabbage Soup which you're allowed to eat whenever you want. This soup is supposed to help you deal with any hunger you may feel. And yes, you're likely to feel hungry at times as the Cabbage Soup Diet is a restrictive plan which severely cuts down your calories and various nutrients as well.

This is a 7 day eating plan. Since the diet is so low in calories and various nutrients, it is best if you don't follow it for more than 7 days at a time. You should take a long break between each 7 day cycle, if you do decide to go through it again.

Here is the 7 day eating plan broken into a day by day schedule:

Day 1: You can eat the soup and all the fruit you want with one exception: no bananas are allowed.

Day 2: You can eat cabbage soup and all the vegetables you want. No fruit is allowed. For dinner you may eat a single baked potato.

Day 3: The soup with any fruit and vegetables that you want. There are two exceptions: no potatoes or bananas.

Day 4: You can eat a lot of bananas on this day, as many as 8. You can also drink as much skim milk as you want. The cabbage soup is also allowed.

Day 5: 10 ounces of beef and 6 tomatoes along with the soup.

Day 6: As much beef and vegetables as you like (no potatoes) and the cabbage soup.

Day 7: Brown rice, the soup, vegetables and unsweetened fruit juice.

As you can see, this is a pretty restrictive menu. You're forbidden to eat a lot of foods and until the fifth day, you don't get any real protein source in your diet. The big restrictions in the Cabbage Soup diet are the main reason why I don't recommend this plan. You may lose weight due to the low calorie content but this will likely be water weight and not fat. In addition, the loss of nutrients is unhealthy. Overall, this is not a healthy program to follow.

Original Cabbage Soup Diet

Do you have an event coming up that you need to drop some weight for? If you're looking for a long-term weight loss plan then this is probably not the right for you. But for a short-term fix, it could be precisely what you need. The Cabbage Soup diet is a high fiber, low fat diet that will assist you in getting in shape for an event or before embarking on a long-term lifestyle change.

Won't a Traditional Diet Work?

Most diets focus on losing weight in a slow and steady manner. For long-term weight loss, you will want to lose 1-2 pounds per week per month on average. Typically, the slower your weight loss indicates that you will be able to keep the weight off. However, this slow method can also cause quite a bit of discouragement for people when they are not seeing results. To kick start a plan like this the cabbage soup diet is an ideal catalyst that will give you immediate results and set you up for success by giving you the confidence to take on a long-term lifestyle change.

Seven Lose Weight Secrets

By following these cabbage soup secrets, you will set yourself up for weight loss triumph.
Stay true to the diet, and don't deviate from its plan.
Drink 4 or more glasses of water a day.
Remember this is only your plan for seven days. You can do anything for seven days!
Make sure that you're taking a good multivitamin every day.
Keep a copy of the diet plan handy so you can reference it at any time.
Eat as much soup as you want! Eat until you're stuffed so that you don't have the temptation to cheat.
Don't be afraid to spice up your soup with spices and herbs.

If you enjoy cabbage soup, then the cabbage soup diet is for you! This is however not a long term diet.

The Cabbage Soup Diet Review - Is This the Best Diet?

Now I am sure you have heard about the famous Cabbage Soup Diet. If you have ever been interested in dieting or weight loss, or perhaps read anything to do with the industry then you will have heard about The Cabbage Soup Diet.

The Cabbage Soup Diet is a bit of an urban legend. No one has actually come forward to claim that they invented this diet and it cannot be determined where this diet originated. Because of this fact there is no 100% definite way to carry out this diet. There are a number of different cabbage soup related eating plans floating around on the internet and in magazines worldwide. Every time someone publishes this diet they seem to add their own flare, either adding or taking away a feature.

Surprisingly this means that while on The Cabbage Soup Diet be prepared to be allowed to eat a wide variety of other foods. Although don't get excited the other choices wont be that fantastic.

Of course the amount of hype that surrounds The Cabbage Soup Diet is phenomenal. Frankly this diet definitely doesn't live up to its reputation (or marketing). Some say that this diet has fat burning properties, which of course is a load of rubbish. Other claims say you can lose up to 10 pounds in a single week by undertaking the Cabbage Soup Diet which again is a ridiculous notion.

No matter what some may have you believe, there is no magical ingredient that is found in cabbage soup that can help you lose weight.

The reason this diet works is that by consuming nothing much except for cabbage soup your body does not go hungry however, you consume so few calories that your body begins to burn its stores to get energy.

The original cabbage soup diet had you eating nothing but Cabbage Soup for the duration of the diet. More recent updates of the famous diet let you consume lean meats, vegetables, fruit and brown rice.

I'm sure you can tell that my recommendation on this diet is to avoid it. For starters it is extremely hard to stick to a diet eating plan which causes you to starve yourself, especially if you are active and going to work or exercising. Also most of the weight you will lose from this diet will not be fat. You will lose a lot of water and also lose muscle. Meaning you will lose weight but you will still look fat soft and mushy.

Starving your body like this will also cause your body to enter into survival mode, causing it to hold onto its energy and fat reserves. Something which will make it exceptionally hard for you to lose weight.

Cabbage Soup Diet - Is it Just a Fad?

"Sacred Heart Hospital diet" or the "Mayo Clinic diet", these are two most common names of the Cabbage Soup diet. This works by consuming a soup made of cabbage during the 7-day time frame. If you plan to lose weight in an instant, this diet is right for you. This diet will let you lose weight in the form of water. But after a while, when you're out of the program, you'll easily add up on your weight again.

While you're in the program, you can take as much cabbage soup as you wish accompanied by lots of water. It is also best to add some fruits and more vegetables to your meals. For diet starters, cabbage soup diet is a best pilot program because it works fast and is proven to be very healthy.

The cabbage soup diet is programmed for strictly 7 days, not shortened nor extended. It is also important to follow the diet instructions. It is required that you drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day and observe the diet meal menu without changing it. During the 7 days within the program, some body needs like protein, calcium and fatty acids may not be present.

With the tasteless flavor of the cabbage soup, it earned several different reviews from critics. Also, while in the diet, one may feel dizziness and headaches because of the lack of protein of the diet. Many quit this program because they could not stand the tasteless flavor of the soup and side effects occur to be inconvenient and unpleasant.

For those who want to have fast weight loss results, cabbage soup diet is right for you. Despite of its richness in fiber and low fat, it still fails to meet the body needs in nutritional value. The main thought of this diet is to take out fat from the body with the help of the fiber found in cabbage.

With all the diet fads out there, a balanced and healthy life style accompanied by regular exercise is still the best to achieve a better you.

Fast Weight Loss Diets - Are They All the Same? How I Lost 8 Pounds in 5 Days

For a Good Healthy Diet you need:

Carbohydrates - If you try to eliminate all carbohydrates from your diet then you are on the road to failure. Good Choices are Fruit and Vegetables also Low Fat Dairy products.

Fats - Nuts, Olives & Avocados have good benefits and have the right fat in them.

Calories - If you go into a starvation mode following an extreme low calorie diet plan it can be extremely harmful to your body. Healthy methods for losing weight are more advisable.

I have tried a lot of Diets including Weight Watchers, Herbalife, Cabbage soup, Low Calorie, etc. etc. Yes, all these Diets work but as soon as you stop the portion sized meals & calorie counting involved, the weight creeps back on. You don't notice it so much at first and then Oh Oh! You have to start from the beginning again.

I began searching for a new healthy Diet, reading reviews and all the promises that each diet would do for you and then I came upon the Strip That Fat diet plan. I decided that I would try this weight loss plan to lose some fat fast, not just water as you do with a number of other weight loss diets.

Losing fat is the main goal of this program and to do it in a healthy way that anybody can follow because you are eating normal foods. No pills, diet drinks, portion control packages. This is a diet that has balanced foods that are required for a healthy metabolism. I liked the fact that I did not have to weigh my food or work out portions of this and portions of that.

No more counting calories, as that is all done for you in the personalized diet plan and I could eat as much of the foods in each planned meal until I was satisfied. I lost 8 pounds following this particular program in just 5 days.

GM Diet Reviews

The GM Diet is a free weight loss plan that's been around since th 1980s. Rumor has it that the managment of General Motors has this diet created for their employees to help them lose weight. I've read that a spokesperson from General Motors denied any knowledge of this diet and it does seem a bit far-fetched to assume that GM had anything to do with it.

Nevertheless, the GM Diet has remained popular and is still used today. It's a free 7 day eating plan made up of low calorie food combinations. The purpose is to get you to lose weight fast.

GM Diet reviews and testimonials are mixed. Some report losing weight with this diet while others state that it is far too drastic to be any good for the average person. Once you see the full 7 day menu in this article, you'll see that this is indeed not an easy diet plan to stick to.

In addition to what you can eat on each and every day, you can also enjoy the GM Diet Soup which is made up of tomatoes, onions, head of cabbage, celery, and 4 Envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix with additional flavoring as you see fit. This soup can be eaten without limitation.

Here is the GM Diet menu:

Day 1: As many fruit as you like except bananas.

Day 2: Any cooked or raw vegetables that you like without any dressing. For breakfast you should have a baked potato flavored with very little butter.

Day 3: As many fruits and vegetables as you like. Bananas are still forbidded to eat.

Day 4: On this day, you can eat up to 8 bananas and drink up to 3 tall glasses of milk. Remember that you can also enjoy the GM Diet soup as much as you like.

Day 5: Eat 6 whole tomatoes and 2 servings of beef (10 oz. each). You also need to drink a high quantity of water.

Day 6: Eat as much beef and vegetables as you like with no limitations on type.

Day 7: Eat brown rich and vegetables and drink fruit juices.

There's little information about whether you can do the cycle again and if so, how soon after the first one is completed.

As you can see, the food is limited and the diet is low on calories. No exercise is mentioned, you only lose weight due to the nutrition.

As this is a restrictive diet plan, it may be hard to stick to the General Motors diet for a long time. However, this is not what this diet is for. It's for a very fast weight loss, not really for long term results.

Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet - A Review

The Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet (also known as the Sacred Heart Diet) is another of those diets which, like the Tuna Fish Diet, is attributed to hospital staff who were attempting to reduce the weight of a cardiac patient by some 10 lbs. It has been around since at least the 1980's and takes the form of a vegetable soup which is consumed, along with a few other foods, over a period of seven days.

Intending users should be aware that the origin of this plan is uncertain. Hospitals have denied being the source, as have other institutions that have been nominated as likely creators, including the American Heart Association.

Nonetheless, the diet continues to be circulated and has adherents who are happy to use it, along with others who were skeptical or did not find it useful. This soup diet is also known as the Cleveland Clinic Diet, the Cabbage Soup Diet, and the Spokane Heart Diet. I have found reports from users who state that they were introduced to it by their medical practitioner.

The dieter is expected to eat the soup at least once a day and, at various times, meats, rice, vegetables and fruit may be included in the eating plan. Excluded are bread and alcohol. Included are Chicken Noodle Soup, stewed tomatoes, beef broth, celery and more. The only drinks permitted are water, black coffee, cranberry juice (unsweetened) and skimmed milk. A detailed outline of this plan can be found with a quick search for my article "Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet - Recipe and Diet Plan".

EFFECTS:

1. The Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet is essentially a low calorie, short term diet, with the difficulties typical of such a plan, such as dizziness, lack of energy, occasional diarrhea and sometimes fainting.

2. Short term weight loss is often water loss rather than fat loss and is easily regained once the diet has ended.

3. The body tends to conserve energy and fat reserves with low calorie diets. This makes it harder for lasting weight loss to occur.

4. There are reports of significant amounts of weight reduction but the feelings of hunger and discomfort caused by this diet plan make it likely the user will eat excessively after the seven days of restricted eating. Thus the amount of weight that has been lost will soon be regained.

5. A change in eating habits is not required except for the seven day period of the diet. This means that the benefits are unlikely to continue as returning to the same conditions as before will soon restore whatever has been lost.

To obtain lasting weight loss requires, in effect, a change of lifestyle - a different selection of foods as part of the normal diet rather than a crash program that adds stress to the body and provides only short term benefits. Such a plan would include food that has high nutritional value and suits the tastes and preferences of the dieter. As well, a significant portion of the weight that has been lost should be fat loss and not merely water which is easily replaced. Unfortunately, the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet does not meet these requirements.

Get details of a remarkably successful, quick, natural weight loss strategy that builds body tone and good health whilst burning unwanted fat at Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Review of the Cabbage Soup Diet Plan

The Cabbage Soup diet is another fad weight loss diet that is centered around eating cabbage soup. The origins of the soup are uncertain, but it is believed to go back as far as World War I. During that time, besides cabbage the American soldiers had few options for vegetables. Also eating it offered them protection against scurvy, a disease deficiency caused by inadequate vitamin C in their diet.

Over the years the diet has been know by many different names: TWA Stewardess Diet, Model's Diet, Dolly Parton Diet, Military Cabbage Soup Diet, Sacred Heart Hospital Diet, and the Skinny Diet to name a few.

The reason for its popularity is that many of the diet proponents claim that you can lose 10 or more pounds in a week. Whether this is true or not, no studies have been performed that demonstrates that cabbage possesses any properties that can help to speed up the fat burning process like grapefruit.

Description of the Cabbage Soup Diet

The diet consist mainly of a recipe for the soup. Besides the cabbage, the ingredients of the recipes may also include other vegetables such as tomatoes, celery, green peppers, and onions.

Early versions of the soup would cook for an hour. However for newer versions of the recipe, the cooking time is 10 to 15 minutes. The shorter cooking time helps to preserve the nutrients found in the cabbage.

Also the dieters are expected to follow specific menus for each day. Many of the menus consist of some fruits, beans, and potatoes. On most of the days no meat is included in the diet. Also, depending on the version of the diet that you are following, cabbage soup is to be eaten once per day or in some case in an unlimited amount, or whenever you feel hungry.

Benefits

The limited benefits of the diet are that cabbage is a healthy vegetable and that it is in expensive to make and store. Given that 3 1/2 ounces of the vegetable only has 20 calories, you can eat a lot and not have to worry about ingesting an excessive amount of calories.

Precautions and Risks

There are many concerns that you should keep in mind about the diet. Since the diet is nutritionally restrictive, the primary precaution that you have to take is not to follow it longer than seven days. And again because of its restrictive nature, if you have health problems, you would be wise to consult a health professional before you start.

And since many of the pounds that you will lose will be water weight, you may also get in the habit of losing and then putting the weight back on-- the dreaded yo-yo dieting syndrome.

Some other effects that you should be aware of is the increase in flatulence, which can be embarrassing. Also, many of the recipes include lots of salt. So if you are trying to restrict your sodium intake, you need to be conscious of this fact.

Assessment of the Cabbage Soup Diet

As with most diets, because of its calorie restriction you will lose weight. For this same reason, following it over an extended period will probably be hard, not to mention unhealthy.

Hearing that you can lose 10 pounds are more on this diet does make it tempting to try, but over the long haul, it will not be worth it. This is mainly due to the nature in which you lost the weight. Even if it were healthy, it is very doubtful that you could follow this diet the rest of your life. Good dieting is not just about weight loss or burning fat, but also about sustaining your success and living healthy.

There are many diets out there that are healthier and can help you sustain weight loss permanently without compromising your health. Do yourself a favor and avoid the temptation of using this diet as the centerpiece of your weight loss plan. The only thing that you should take from it is the recipes for cabbage soup.

Cabbage Soup Diet - Surviving the Seven Days Program

The Cabbage Soup Diet is one of the fad diets which is designed for fast weight loss and requires no long term commitment. It is designed as seven days program where dieter will have a strict meal plans with cabbage soup as the main ingredients. The program itself is not new; it was first gained popularity at 1980s due to the claim of 10 pounds weight loss per week.

An example of the 7 days meal plans:

Day 1: Fruit; consist of cabbage soup, fruits (except banana), protein shake, fat burner drink, and water with lemon or herbal.

Day 2: Vegetable; consist of cabbage soup, vegetables, protein shake, fat burner drink, baked potato, and water with lemon or vegetable juices.

Day 3: Fruit and Vegetables; consist of cabbage soup, fruit, vegetables, protein shake, fat burner drink, and water with lemon or vegetable juices.

Day 4: Bananas; consist of cabbage soup, banana, low fat dairy, protein shake, and water with lemon or herbal.

Day 5: Fish and Tomatoes; consist of cabbage soup, fish or poultry with tomatoes, protein shake, fat burner drink, and water with lemon or herbal.

Day 6: Poultry Day; consist of cabbage soup, poultry or fish, vegetables, protein shake, fat burner drink, water with lemon or vegetable juices.

Day 7: Rice Day; consist of cabbage soup, vegetables, protein shake, fat burner drink, mushroom risotto, and water with lemon or vegetable juices.

Notes that there is no limit for the consumption of cabbage soup at any day, the dieter can eat as much as he wants. On day three, five, six, and seven, there are no limits for fruit, vegetables, fish, and poultry consumption. The recipes of the soup itself usually consist of cabbage, carrots, peppers, onions, and tomatoes with preferred seasonings. The program also forbid alcohol, bread, and carbonated beverages.

While it is named The Cabbage Soup Diet, there are no scientific studies that show cabbage properties to burn fat. The seven days meal plans indicate that this is another low calorie diet with 800-100 calories per day, the soup is just there to satisfy the dieter whenever he is hungry.

Pros

Fast weight loss; the dieter can expect to lose 10 to 15 pounds at the end of the program.
No expensive ingredients; in fact, it's very cheap.
Simple; no exercise or any other behavior changes are suggested, it's only the 7 days meal plan.
Encourage the dieter to eat more fruit and vegetables.

Cons

The diet is very low calorie and considered unhealthy. The soup itself contains very little protein and the dieter usually will suffer lack of proper nutrition. It is not recommended to consume less than 1200 calories per day unless it is advised by a doctor.
Continuously eat cabbage soup throughout the entire week can be really boring, which can encourage the dieter to eat less than the already low calories per day.
The soup recipes usually contain high levels of sodium or MSG (Monosodium Glutamate).
There is theory that the weight loss mainly comes from fluid or muscle mass, not fat loss, which will return once the dieter back to the normal eating behaviors.
The common cabbage soup recipes usually result in bland soup and some dieters have report to feeling nauseous whenever they smell the soup after finish the 1 week program.
Possibly cause frequently fart.
Hard to eat out since the meals in the program are not commonly served at a restaurant.

From the facts, it is obvious that this diet has many drawbacks and not recommended; many experts will suggest a traditional long term healthy diet. But it is also true that fast weight loss is really tempting and many will still try it. If you do plan to try this diet program, here are a few things to consider:

This diet is for adult, it is not suitable for children and adolescents.
Only go on this diet a week at a time, do not try to prolong it.
If any health problem occurs, consult your doctor immediately.
During the diet, keep remind yourself that the program only last for seven days and it will result on significant weight loss.
Drink at least 5 glass of water per day.
Try different variety of spices and seasoning to minimize boredom from eating the soup continuously.
Even if you don't like it, force yourself to eat plenty of soup. This diet is already low in calories and you don't want to starve yourself due to your dislike to cabbage soup.
Try to keep stay at home, you will probably too weak from the low calorie foods and to gassy from mass quantities of cabbage. If you are away from home, carry your soup with you.
Consume food supplement to complement this diet.
Make a journal to keep track your weight loss from day 1.
Use a reminder to make sure you eat the right food of the day.
Keep steady supply of the ingredients, fruits, and vegetables in your refrigerator.
Consume protein shake to avoid lack of protein.

The bottom line is keeping yourself healthy and stay focused during the entire process, you will gain significant weight loss at the end of the program. And don't just stop there; you should continue it with a healthy long term weight loss program

The Cabbage Soup Diet Review

One of the most popular diets today is the cabbage soup diet. This article takes a looks at the pros and cons of the diet to help you decide if it is the right diet for you.

The cabbage soup diet is fairly straightforward. It is a 7 day diet aimed at rapid weight loss which claims that you can lose 10 lbs. or more in the 7 days that you are on the diet. There is a special soup that you make using a combination of cabbage and other vegetables. The basic concept of the diet is that you can eat as much of the cabbage soup as you want each day to keep from getting too hungry. There is a 7 day eating plan that goes along with the soup which consists of a highly restrictive list of other foods that you are allowed to eat on the diet.

Although initially the diet may seem like a good idea and the promise of rapid weight loss is certainly tempting, there are quite a few problems with this diet that may not make it the best choice.

First, it is an extremely low calorie diet which can cause problems. Many people report feeling light headed when they are on the diet because they simply aren't getting enough calories. Along with that, eating too few calories can actually make it harder to lose weight and easier to gain it back since it throws your body into "starvation mode". Basically, your body thinks that you are starving so it slows down your metabolism to keep from using your fat reserves for energy in an effort to keep you alive longer. A slower metabolism will make it more difficult to lose weight.

The major problem with this diet aside from having too few calories is that most of the weight that you lose on it will be water weight. That means that the minute you go off the diet you will see the weight you have lost start to reappear. Obviously that's not what you are aiming for, right?

Because the cabbage soup diet is highly restrictive in regards to the types of foods that you eat and how few calories you eat it is very hard to stick with for the full 7 days without cheating or going off the diet. Along with that many people report that the cabbage makes them gassy which can be an embarrassing problem if you have to be out in public during the course of the diet.

About the only good side to the diet is that it includes a lot of fruits and vegetables. However, fruits and vegetables alone don't provide your body with all the nutrients that it needs.

If you are looking for a rapid weight loss diet to get you started so you can see results right away a better option would be to try the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet This popular diet is much more balanced than the cabbage soup diet, has more variety in the foods you eat, is easier to stick with and still allows you to lose weight very quickly - as much as 9 lbs. in 11 days. Cabbage Soup Diet - Diet Review - Pros, Cons

Overview

The Cabbage Soup Diet is a controversial weight loss approach advising an exclusive consumption of a low-calories cabbage soup over a period of seven days. Inspiring many imitators using similar principles, it claims to produce weight loss results of 10 lbs in a week.

Cabbage Soup Recipe

6 Large onions (green)
2 Peppers (green)
1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)
3 Carrots
1 Container (10 oz. or so) Mushrooms
1 bunch of celery
1 half head of cabbage
1 package soup mix (Lipton)
1 or 2 cubes of bouillon (optional)
1 48oz can tomato juice (optional)
Season with salt, pepper, curry, garlic powder, parsley

The Plan

Day One- Soup and as much fruit as you want, except bananas.
Day Two- Soup and vegetables including one potato with a little butter.
Day Three- Soup and fruit plus vegetables, except potatoes and bananas.
Day Four- Soup and up to eight bananas and unlimited skim milk.
Day Five- Soup and up to 20 ounces of beef and as many as six tomatoes.
Day Six- Soup and all the beef and vegetables as you want (no potatoes).
Day Seven- Soup and brown rice, vegetables (no potatoes) and unsweetened fruit juice.

Pros

Quick Weight Loss: If you have a wedding, or high school reunion to go to in the next week or so, and you need to fit into that dress...this might be ok to try.

Cons

Unsustainable: There is no way of keeping up this diet in the long term, and isn't long term weight loss what we're all after?

Could Make You Fatter: Research shows that we tend to store calories more efficiently after periods of starvation. I.E. You lose 10lbs this week but gain 12lbs in the next two.

Bottom Line

This is a starvation diet plain and simple. It might take off a couple pounds in the short term but it will surely hurt you in the long run, and will likely add pounds rather than take them away, by messing with your body's metabolism. What works in the long term is a sensible balanced eating plan, focusing on portion control and moderate exercise.

Cabbage soup diet pills are a very dependable way to lose your weight. It is so amazing how fast the cabbage soup diet pills make you full and at the same time help you lose weight . All you need to do is just take 2 with a glass full of water 30 minutes before every meal. When the water goes down to the stomach, your body heats the water up. Then the capsules breakdown in the stomach. Right then it makes a cup of soup in your tummy, and that makes you full every time. If you take them it really works just as it did for me as I was struggling with my love life a couple of years ago.

It was the year when my wife left me because of my extremely heavy weight. I was struggling for a long time trying to look for something which could speed up my weight loss. It was so hard for me because I know that one of the reasons why my wife left me was my weight. I have tried so many products that I thought could give a solution to my problem but I was disappointed. After I heard about them and bravely tried them, they really worked.

The cabbage soup diet pills made me not crave for so many fatty and yummy foods. Those foods had normally made me gain weight. It's really easy to use them. 6 cups of soup are just like 2 capsules. Sometimes people think that it takes time and is really difficult, but actually its the other way around. Just be disciplined enough in taking cabbage soup diet pills and then your problem is solved. They could do for you just what cabbage soup diet pills did for me. I thought that I wouldn't be able to find anything that would help me but I found it in cabbage soup diet pills. I felt the change that they brought to my body.

My body lost many pounds and it made me look better so I regained my confidence and tried dating again. Because of that, girls started looking at me. I found dates really quick unlike when I was fat. At that time, some girls that I really wanted to date were all just dreams. When cabbage soup diet pills worked for me, these beautiful girls were not just a fantasy, they actually became real! Nowadays I try to recommend it to people who have the same problem that I had before. They will be a great potential in helping people with extremely heavy weight. There's no surgery needed. Just take 2 cabbage soup diet pills with every meal. Then it will start to work no matter how fat you are.

Now I found the real love of my life by just taking them. Its not only for weight losing purposes. Cabbage soup diet pills will work out many things for you. Thanks to cabbage soup diet pills, the romance in my life has returned and I've never felt better.

Cabbage Soup Diet Reviews - What You Need to Know

It's almost faster to start on a cabbage soup diet than it is to read cabbage soup diet reviews. That's because this is a diet that uses foods you probably already have on hand. You don't need any strange foods or any special supplements. It's simple and it's cheap. But does it work?

Well it depends on what you wish to accomplish. Real lasting weight loss requires changing habits. A diet can be a part of a long term plan and in that case can be valuable. Let's face it, losing a pound or two a week on a long term plan is pretty discouraging. The scale seems to hardly move at all. What I like to see is some action. I like to see that scale move. If that's what you want, this plan can help.

The cabbage soup diet isn't just eating cabbage soup for a week. It's more interesting than that. Actually the cabbage soup is a filler. You can eat all you want whenever you want. It's filling but very low in calories, you see. You get to eat other food during the seven day diet.

Each day you eat certain foods, but only those foods. For example, one day you can eat all the vegetables you want plus the soup. Then another day you eat all the vegetables plus all the fruits you want. It varies from day to day, but you get plenty to eat. Absent from the foods are breads and desserts. But each day is different to keep it interesting.

Really this is a fat and calorie restricted diet and you will lose weight. It's not too hard to do since you do get plenty of food to keep you full. This is not at all a long term, balanced eating plan. It's just a way to drop a few pounds in a hurry.

This plan has worked for me. It has several advantages. You get plenty to eat so you're not hungry all the time. Each day is different so it's not too boring. It's also a cheap way to eat too. There are no expensive books, supplements or foods to buy. It's just fast and effective if you just want to shed a few pounds fast.

The soup itself has plenty of green peppers that have dietary fiber, potassium and carbohydrates. There are also green onions with thiamin, vitamin C, niacin, calcium, magnesium, and iron. The tomato, that serves as the soup's liquid base, is rich in lycopene, which is an antioxidant also known to fight cancer.

1. Some people would complain about the taste of the cabbage soup - they say it's too bland. They also report light-headedness, weakness, and decreased concentration.

2. The diet lacks complete and balanced nutrition.

3. It is high in salt.

4. You have to prepare for flatulence (intestinal gas).

5. The diet requires a lot of will power and is not an answer to long-term weight loss.

According to Mizpah Matus (postgraduate of Nutrition Medicine) and Mike Howard (involved in the industry of health for more than 10 years as author, lecturer, and personal trainer), the biggest drawback of Cabbage Soup Diet is the monotony of eating the soup itself. However, other diets know about its nutritional properties, and often copy this diet or make their own version - they just make it a little bit more interesting by mixing other foods with the same effect.

Nevertheless, many people feel that the cons are still worth it compared to the end result. So if you think that losing extra pounds is what you need in order to feel secure and confident in the next important event, then you would probably want to go for it.
